What documents do I need to import a car to the United States?
- Foreign registration

Entering the USA with a new car is significantly harder than entering with a used car. More paper work than with a used one.
Classic cars and bikes older than 25 years old do not need to conform to EPA and DOT restrictions like newer cars do.
